Aromatherapy Washcloth Treatment

I am sure there is a better or more fancy way of naming this spa treatment that I love to give at a Spa Party ... but I can't think of one right now! This is a treatment that all the guests love doing and it is so easy to do at home as well. It is a great way to relax and focus on yourself for just a few minutes. You will be amazed at the difference it can make in your day!

I like to start out my Spa Party with this treatment as it is a wonderful way to calm everyone down and it sets the mood for an evening of relaxation and fun. All you need is a washcloth and one of Sensaria's Aroma-Sensory Oil Blends. The Alpha Blend Aroma-Sensory Oil is a blend of Orange Oil and Vanilla so it slows down the brain waves which promotes a relaxating and calming treatment. The Beta Blend Aroma-Sensory Oil is a blend of Spearmint, Peppermint and Eucalyptus Oils which stimulates and intensifies the brain waves for an energizing treatment.

  1. Get your washcloth wet and wring it out so it is damp.
  2. Put 2-3 drops of the Aroma-Sensory Oil of your choice on the washcloth.
  3. Roll up washcloth and put it in a zip lock baggie.
  4. Microwave for about a minute depending on the power of your microwave. The washcloth should be very hot and steamy.
  5. Take washcloth out of the baggie and unroll it.
  6. Shake it a bit to let it cool off.
  7. Place washcloth on your face and lean back.
  8. Take nice, deep breaths letting the aroma-sensory oil relax or energize you.
  9. Take the washcloth off when it cools off.
You can even prepare a few washcloths at a time and store the baggies in the refrigerator and pop them in the microwave whenever you need one. There are many other uses for our Aroma-Sensory Oils as well which I may post about later. I hope you enjoy this spa treatment at home and let me know what you think of it!
