Vitamin C Treatment Tip

I got this tip from a fellow rep Amanda who if I recall correctly heard directly from Sensaria's head of Product Development. In case you didn't know as well but Sensaria's Vitamin C Rejuvenating Treatment is made without water because when it mixes with water (and oxygen), it activates and loses it's potency. Make sure to check the color of your product because if it is yellow or orange in color then it has probably oxidized and you should throw it away. I have had my product for over a year and it is still white like it was when I first purchased it. Imagine slicing an apple in half and you put lemon juice (a rich source of vitamin c) on one half and leave the other half plain and natural. When you come back an hour later, the half with lemon juice on it is still fresh and white while the other half is brown. The brown half has oxidized! Sensaria's treatment also contains a rich mixture of antioxidants and humectants to improve skin tone, texture and elasticity.

Why should you use Vitamin C? It can help reduce the signs of aging by stimulating collagen, decreasing wrinkle depth and have lightening effects on pigmentation. Sensaria's also contains 10% Vitamin C which is the highest and most effective dose. Why do we need Vitamin C? It is required for the synthesis of collagen which is the building blocks in your skin. Collagen helps keep that plump, youthful look to your skin and when it starts to diminish, you will see wrinkles and sagging skin.

Ok already! What is the tip? As I said before, Vitamin C reacts with water. I tend to put on my repair products while my face is still damp from the Toning or Freshening Mist but with this repair product, you should wait until your face is DRY! Otherwise, it activates on top of your skin instead of penetrating into your skin and activating there. Smart tip! Also make sure you are putting this treatment on at night since it makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight. If you use it during the day, just make sure to use a sunscreen on top of it.
