Eye Creams Aren't Just For Eyes

I just got around to reading the monthly newsletter from Sensaria that comes with my commission check. It is really nice that they spend so much time keeping us updated and sharing stories about other reps or the history of the company. It was great fun reading our 8th Anniversary edition this month. There were lots of tidbits about the company, our founder and other reps who joined at the very beginning.

Anyway, in this month's issue there was a great tip I want to share. It was fellow rep Jamie who shared another use for Sensaria's Optimize Rejuvenating Eye Serum. She tells her customers that you should take whatever you use around your eyes and apply it around your mouth too. It makes a lot of sense since the delicate areas around the eyes and lips need extra attention. I also know that you can use Sensaria's Line Diminisher around the mouth or anywhere you see fine lines or wrinkles. I like using it under my eyes and it is my favorite eye cream.

What I do is wash my face, then use the toner and follow with the Eye Serum. It's highly concentrated formula reduces dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles. I top off my eyes with the Line Diminisher which is a rich, creamy formula that blends in silky smooth. It has light reflecting pigments that reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles. It brightens the eye area and firms and tightens the skin too. Finally, I finish my face with a moisturizer. The Eye Serum and Line Diminisher is a great one-two punch! Now I am going to try them around my mouth too!

Getting the Perfect Tan

I got my weekly newsletter from Sensaria today and they are including a product tip in each issue. I like it because not only do I get to learn something new but in today's case, it reminds me about something I already knew. Reading our rep newsletter inspires me to blog about the tips I read in there so I am going to try to update my blog once a week. It does get hard with all that I have going on but if you don't see me post ... then email or call me!

Ok, so on to today's tip about getting the perfect tan. While it is good to get some sun so we can all make some Vitamin D in our bodies ... it isn't a good idea to sit out in the sun all day to get a tan. There is definitely a fine balance between getting enough sun to stay healthy and getting too much sun where you risk getting skin cancer or wrinkles. Staying out in the sun definitely ages you quicker than if you slathered on sunscreen and avoid the sun. So, wouldn't you like to have the look of a healthy, glowing tan without all the harmful damage it can cause? The perfect product for you is Sensaria's Raydiance Sunless Tanner.

Now, you could just use the Sunless Tanner on it's own but for maximum results, start out with a great body scrub. Sensaria has a few different ones to offer and I wrote an article a few months ago about all the different types. My choice right now for a body scrub is Sensaria's White Sand Body Scrub. This scrub has a light tropical scent, white sand and sea salt which is a wonderful way to exfoliate all the dead skin cells. Using a body scrub helps prepare your skin for a smooth and even application.

Apply the body scrub in the shower to damp skin. Make sure you step away from the stream of water so the sea salt doesn't wash away too quickly. Rinse and towel dry off. Squirt a small amount of Raydiance Sunless Tanner into the palm of your hand and rub onto your skin. I like to apply it to my legs so make sure you coat them evenly. Don't forget the back of your legs and top of your feet too! Apply the tanner until it is all soaked in. If you leave too much product on then it will leave streaks. It is always best to apply less as you can do it again in a few hours. Then you will be able to tell if you missed any spots.

Another great way to top off your healthy tan is with Sensaria's Tropical Glow Body Lotion. It is an elegant, lightweight glimmering body lotion with the sensual scent of the tropics. It will give your skin a hint of sexy shimmer and subtle glow so you have something to admire until the sunless tanner kicks in.

Sole Survivor Foot Mask ... the Multitasker!

I have mentioned briefly about using our foot mask Sole Survivor as another product to use in the Nourishing Foot Treatment tip. Little did I know that just a few months after posting that tip that the Foot Mask would become one of my best sellers!

I was really skeptical when it first came out because come on ... who needs a FOOT MASK? However, after going to a team meeting where everyone was raving about it and insisting that we all just try it. So, I did and it is nice but I don't have problem feet like a lot of people do. Sure, they get dry and flaky and the Foot Mask worked better than the Body Butters I was using before. However, it wasn't until I started getting approached with questions about what to do with problem feet like dry, cracked heels or painful, hard calluses or their husband's yucky feet. Man, was I glad I had an answer for them! This product just flew out the door!

The real proof is when people start re-ordering them! Just a few months ago, I had a customer contact me to get more of that amazing Sole Survivor Foot Mask. It had worked so great at eating away all the dead skin on her fiance's feet that she wanted to buy another one for him and then one to send to her mom who lives in the desert!

Also, just a few days ago, Joan who is in my networking group mentioned to me that she had a testimonial for me regarding the Foot Mask! She is going through Perimenopause and one of the symptoms is dry skin. One of her problem spots is her feet and had even gotten a prescription of 40% Urea (yes, I had to Google it) which doesn't work nearly as well as the Sole Survivor Foot Mask! Nice! Thanks Joan!

Finally, isn't it funny how all the stars align and things just really connect? Well, just last week in our company's weekly newsletter they had a little blurb about this product too:

"Sole Survivor Is A Triple Threat!
Selling a product is easiest when you can suggest multiple uses. This week’s multi-use winner is Sole Survivor Foot Mask which not only melts away foot calluses, but is also very effective for softening those hard, white bumps on the back of the upper arms and legs caused by keratosis pilaris. Also, a small amount can be used to soften dry, “elephant elbows.” Three easy ways to smooth your rough edges!"

Men's Skin Care is not just for men!

Well, maybe you didn't know that Sensaria even carried a Men's Skin Care line? Well, we do! I have blogged about the products before on their great use for acne prone skin. I used it when I was pregnant and broke out like crazy! The Tea Tree Oil and soothing desert plant extracts really helped a lot. However, I just read in our weekly newsletter from the home office about this new use for our men's line!

A customer of another Sensaria rep Maryrose Ramacci uses the Face Wash For Men to shave her legs with! I have always used Sweet & Smooth for all my shaving needs but I am going to try the Face Wash For Men next time! Also, the Hydragel for Men is great for those post-shaving bumps too. Who knew? Well, apparently Kimmie did! LOL!

Guess what? Our men's line is going on sale next month on June 1st. You get all three products (scrub, shave gel/wash and aftershave lotion) for just $55 so you save 10% when you buy the set. Plus, you get a FREE sleeve of Sensaria logo Pinnacle golf balls and tees too! It would make a great Father's Day gift or even a great gift for any lady you know who golfs!

I can't wait to try out this new tip and let me know if it works for you too!

Got a grungy, grimy shower to clean?

I recently did a bunch of events this month and came across some very helpful and nice Sensaria customers and reps. They gave me some great tips that I am going to pass along to you. I haven't had a chance to try them all so your feedback is most appreciated!

A Sensaria fan came up to me a few weekends ago to tell me how much they loved their favorite product! She had a tip for me that I had not yet heard about before so I decided to add it to my blog. It is one of my favorite things about working a booth at an event ... the random people who come up to you and start raving about what they love about Sensaria! It makes me feel so good about doing what I do!

So anyway her favorite product is the Citrus Cleaner. She told me that they were getting a house ready to sell and I think she mentioned it was a rental previously. Needless to say that the bathtub was grungy and in serious need of a cleaning. She was not a fan of many cleaners on the market today since they are full of toxic fumes and chemicals. She did not want to spend the day in the bathroom inhaling all that noxious stuff. Plus, it just doesn't clean nearly as well as our Citrus Cleaner! All she did was squirt some in the tub without diluting it and scrubbed away. It turned out clean as new and it smelled nice and citrus-y too! Bonus!

Getting out those stubborn oil stains on your clothes

So this tip came from a gal that I do some business with and am anxious to try it out. She used our Mango Shampoo which is now a discontinued item. However, we think that any shampoo that is designed for oily hair would work. I want to try a few different Sensaria products like one of our Body Washes. They aren't really for oily skin but it might work since they are gentle yet deep cleansing. I also would try our Citrus Cleaner since it seems like a perfect use for this problem. I would try a few drops undiluted and rub it in. You can wash it right away or maybe leave it on until the next wash since it is safe for veggies and clothes. Here is what LeighAnna had to say about this tip:

"Yes, you know when someone drops food on their shirts and it leaves the oil spot that detergent doesn’t seem to get out – well someone told me to soak it in straight shampoo made for oily hair – at the time I had the Mango Sensaria shampoo – used it and Walah – perfect!"

Let me know if it works for you!

Relax or Refresh on the Go!

I recently did a bunch of events this month and came across some very helpful and nice Sensaria customers and reps. They gave me some great tips that I am going to pass along to you. I haven't had a chance to try them all so your feedback is most appreciated!

I believe it was a fellow Sensaria rep who passed on this tip to me. She would take an empty mini body butter container (the 1.7oz size) and put in a scoop of our Alpha or Beta Bath Salts inside. She would keep it tucked into her purse or in her car. So, anytime she needed a little pick me up and needed to be energized or refreshed ... out comes the Beta Bath Salts! The Beta is an invigorating, minty scent that is designed to activate the Beta brain waves which keep you awake. Then if she needed to chill out or calm down a bit ... out comes the Alpha Bath Salts! The soothing orange and vanilla scents is designed to stimulate the Alpha brain waves which relax you and help you sleep.

If you don't happen to have an empty mini body butter container then one of the empty containers that used to hold my mineral makeup would work too. I always seem to have some of those around and it is a great idea to recycle them in such a wonderful way!

Oh hey ... did you know that you can mix our bath salts with some oil or a little bit of water to make a nice body scrub? I am loving how many useful things you can do with our products!
